Unusual visitors to the Straw's Bridge Nature Reserve (Swan Lake) Ilkeston photographed on Australia Day 26th January 2007. Black swans are native to Australia but according to the RSPB "They were brought to the UK as ornamental birds like peacocks and golden pheasants. Like many other captive birds, they occasionally find their way out into the wild."

A walk through the fair which is one of the largest street fairs in Europe starting on South St and finishing on Bath Street taking in Wharncliffe Road, Pimlico and the Market Place.

Half a dozen views captured on a walk through Shipley Country Park suitable for use as wallpapers. Most of them were taken in or near the woods on Shipley Hill.

The park which was originally part of the Markeaton Hall Estate owned by the Mundy family from 1516, is Derby's most used leisure facility.
